SEAMEO CELLL participated in international conferences on "Quality education and lifelong learning for all" and "Networking universities in adult educators training" - Vang Vien, Lao PDR (10-14 March)

In an effort to further development of non-formal education and lifelong learning in Lao PDR, dvv-international in cooperation with MOES, Lao PDR, organised an international conference on 

“Quality Education and Lifelong Learning for All” in Vang Vien, Lao PDR, on 10 and 11 March 2014 with the participation from Lao MOES senior officials and international guests from Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

​His Excellency Mr Lytou Buapao, Deputy Minister of MOES, Lao PDR, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Kim Shinil, former Deputy Minister and Minister of Education, Korea and Prof. Dr. Heribert Hinzen, Regional Director, dvv-international, co-chaired the conference. Apart from presentations from key departments of Lao PDR MOES, international participants also shared experiences in non-formal education systems and lifelong learning policy development in their countries/ region. 

The conference was immediately followed by another on networking universities on training adult educators, from 12 to 13 March, 2014
